Health & Qi

“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” World Health Organization
According to Chinese philosophy, qi is the circulating life energy that is thought to be inherent in all things. The balance of negative and positive forms in the body is believed to be essential for good health.

Our busy lives can throw our body’s qi into a tailspin! Our life energy is easily constrained by anger, stress, anxiety, grief, and even joy. For example, long days at work and unhealthy eating can lead our qi to depletion, which may produce back pain, lowered immunity, or sexual dysfunction. Frustration can congest your qi and lead to digestive problems. The more balanced your energy is within your body, the healthier you look and feel.
